The "Lovebug"

Okay, so I've not only noticed in my school, but in others that when a couple just begins to date, the next day or earlier they're already telling eachother they love them. Now, I'm all for love at first sight. But at 14-15 years of age? That doesn't really strike me as love. It really does irritate me, though. You tell someone you love someone, and the very next week you've already forgotten about each other. I can understand if you're like in your late teen age years (18-19) or early to mid-twenties. But deffinately not 14. "Love" is a very strong word. It may be short, but it's very powerful, and if not used at the right time, it leaves many heartbroken and lonely, and some even depressed. In my opinion, you should wait until you are completely and totally sure love is what you're feeling. If you're partner says they love you, don't say it just to say it back. If you're not ready just tell them that you aren't ready to use that big of a word quite yet. -Megan
